There’s been new studies showing Melatonin can reverse and repair signs of aging. I went on Amazon and found a liposomal Melatonin liquid supplement and have included it into my skincare routine. I chose a melatonin supplement for a concentrated amount of melatonin to mix with my serum step. (I use the Radiansome line of RIMAN) I was told it’s more potent and meant for more mature skin but once I hear more potent I had to use it. However, you can mix it with any of the after cleansing steps, and any product in the evening.
I see a difference. My skin does look more youthful and some of my freckles have gone away. It’s definitely clearer.
I think when you introduce a new product to your routine the excitement of something new makes it easier to keep up with it everyday but we can’t add new products every couple weeks. I have to say that I do miss a couple nights here and there but then I have to get back on it.
I think it’s pretty normal to miss a few nights here and there but a little reminder is all we need to make sure we don’t give up on it.
There’s two things in my skincare routine I rarely miss. It’s the two things almost all dermatologists can agree on. Aside from prescription strength Retinol, it’s sunscreen everyday, and collagen supplements. Numerous studies have shown these two things really work. Personally prescription Retinol is a bit strong for me and irritates my skin but it’s definitely one topical cream that back by many years of studies so it’s not on my routine but it’s great for other people.
Anyhow I’ll keep on and see where I am in 6 months are so.
